Shield Networks is a managed service provider rooted in the Prairies. We started because too many local businesses were stuck choosing between costly downtime and IT that only showed up after something broke.
So we built the opposite: a proactive partner that keeps your technology secure and quietly running in the background, with senior engineers you can actually reach. On-site across Manitoba and Alberta, and fully remote for cloud-first teams anywhere in Canada.
Today we’re also helping clients put AI to work, privately and safely. Our Hermes and OpenClaw deployments give teams a secure internal “AI brain” grounded in their own data, with strict no-training terms and access controls they own. It’s the edge most small businesses assume is out of reach.

Tim Jordan
Founder & CEO
Tim has spent more than 30 years in IT, long enough to have watched every wave of technology arrive with big promises, and to know which ones actually help a business. He built Shield Networks around the parts that do: proactive support, security as a baseline, and straight answers from senior people.
Today he leads Shield’s remote-first team of senior engineers serving businesses across Western Canada, and heads the private AI work that sets Shield apart, deploying the same Hermes and OpenClaw systems inside client businesses that Shield runs on itself.
